PJF Tax was founded in 2010 with a dedication to staying small. Clients have the opportunity to work directly with the owners. By limiting the number of households we serve, we can dedicate more time and resources to clients. We believe this along with the combination of financial and tax expertise creates a truly exceptional service offering.

James L. Sexton, CPA

James is a co-owner of PJF Tax. His background in both wealth management and individual taxes provides a unique approach to the traditional tax advisor. As tax manager, he is responsible for creating and implementing tax strategies for clients.

Phillip R. Christenson, CFA, RTRP

Phillip is a co-owner of PJF Tax. In addition to working closely with James on preparing tax returns and building out strategies, he heads the Wealth Management division of the sister company, Phillip James Financial. He is both a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and RTRP (Registered Tax Return Preparer).

Michele Wallerius

Michele works behind the scenes to ensure accuracy and assists James & Phillip with the accounting and financial reporting needs of clients. She has a diverse accounting background, most notably at one of the largest real estate companies in the world.

Molly M. Lewis

Molly oversees the overall client experience. As Office Manager, she is instrumental in providing support to clients and ensuring the clients’ needs and expectations are met. Feel free to reach out to her to schedule your next appointment.
